Scott made their own bearings and are rarely a problem, if properly lubricated and not subjected to unaccepteptable load types (ie rollers are meant to run on their faces, not on their corners).
However when they do fail, or require replacement, in our opinion it is not safe to presume size and condition of other associated components.
Especially where crankcases have been welded( and thus often 'moved', the corresponding misalignment will often encourage massively premature deterioration.
We recondition main bearing cups where necessary and make main bearing rings to suit.
We also make crankpin bushes to suit rods and recondition big end rings and little end bushes where necessary.
